Carlo is the founder of a company specializing in space marketing, furniture customization and fabrication. Grace, meanwhile, is a doting mother who takes care of their kids and their home. The family has been living at the condominium for more than five years now.
“The environment here is conducive for learning,” says Grace. “The children can play around and safely mingle with people of all ages and from various walks of life.”The wide open spaces allow ample breeze and sunlight to come in across various parts of the medium-rise buildings, clubhouse and amenities.
“DMCI Homes is particularly generous in giving its homeowners space,” adds Carlo. “They removed around 25% of residential capacity to give way to the atriums and sky patios that are present in all the residential buildings.”




As a signature building feature in DMCI Homes mid-rise and hi-rise developments, Cedar Crest has garden atriums allowing residents to get a free flowing natural light and ventilation in their units.
The tranquil and unpretentious ambiance of the development fosters a closely-knit community that regularly gathers for activities like Sunday masses, garage sales, feasts and barbecue parties, that are usually held at the clubhouse lounge, swimming pool area, gazebo and picnic area. “Homeowners here are very participative and respectful of each other,” shares Grace. “We recently held a novena and procession for our community patron saint, St. Alfonsus de Liguori. After the activity, we held a magic show and feasted on Filipino snacks such as pan de coco, bilo-bilo and other native delicacies from the Banchetto market held during their fiesta. It was fun and everything went very well.”
The community’s traditional culture reminiscent of that in the provinces has been significant for Grace and Carlo, for they themselves grew up in Nueva Vizcaya and Bulacan, respectively.
“Almost everyone knows each other and helps one another in the way they can,” beams Carlo. “For instance, Shealtiel and Cyan like to learn the guitar and hip hop dancing. We get a teacher who just resides nearby and also refers to our neighbour and family friends to conduct lessons. We also have free summer Catechism classes for the little kids in our community conducted by volunteer Moms. Also, we have car pool for our eldest son’s school which caters for our community residents. So you can imagine the family culture that we have here.”








Like the Blanca’s, Peter and Miriam also like the development’s trademark spaciousness that allows comfortable interactions and ample room for movement. “We especially liked how efficiently-designed our 3-bedroom unit is. Here, we can cultivate our own hobbies and interests. My wife grows various herbs in the balcony and our 2-year old son Carlo usually conquers the living room with his toys,” shares Peter.
Moreover, despite his busy schedule, Peter finds time to chair the public relations committee of the Cedar Crest residents’ council. “We always make it a point to have a holistic approach to the activities so that people of all ages can participate,” he says.
